Why Use Pedal Spacers?


Not every cyclist's feet stance width - the distance between the inside of the feet - aligns exactly to the distance dictated by the left pedal axle, left crank arm, bottom bracket, right crank arm and right pedal axle.  For these athletes, pedal spacers, and some pedals with variable length axles, are the answer. 

We offer 20 mm Pedal Spacers to everyone.  For cyclists with smaller stance width needs, we recommend using one or two 1 mm pedal spacer washers, sold in bulk to our BikeFit Pros/Dealers.  They also have the screws mentioned in the menu.
